I find it absolutely mind-boggling when a person wants a break up, and once they get it, they don’t want it anymore. When they find out the other person has moved on, they want them back, and so comes the quote, “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” The fact of the matter is, the other person knew what they had, and they decided to keep it and work on it.
I believe people who have never experienced a truly bad relationship will not appreciate or realize a good relationship when they have it. If you’ve been through a lot during the various people you’ve dated, you’re more likely to appreciate and realize what you have.
People give up a good thing for flirting and flings, but what they don’t realize is that they’re giving up something great for freedom. Then once they start to date people who cheat on them and who treat them badly, they’ll realize that what they want is what they gave up.
It’s selfish and stupid to be angry at somebody for getting over you, especially if you’re the one who didn’t want them.
This is for two different people that I’ve see it happen. I can never word it as well and this person can. His words are things I’ve seen in my life and it’s interesting how much it can relate to pretty everyone’s lives. Either they’ve experienced it, just seen it, or been conflicted in it.
